Chuck started dating Carol Manley, who lived on the next block over on Cherokee Street in Royal Oak. This photograph was taken on their first date at Edgewater Amusement Park, near 7 Mile and Telegraph. They went on the roller coaster, rode the bumper cars, and took a trip through the Tunnel of Love.
This picture was taken at Neisners Department Store. It was like a Five and Dime store in Royal Oak where chucks mom Edna worked at. They had a small photo booth where you could get 4 pictures on a strip for a quarter.
On May 18th, 1962, Carol and Chuck purchased their wedding rings for $39.90.
... and on May 26th, 1962 they became Husband and Wife.
